In 2005, Suning County was named the “Fur Capital of China” by the China Light Industry Federation and the China Leather Association.
In recent years, with the implementation of the “e-commerce revitalization of the county” strategy, Suning County’s fur clothing industry has seized new opportunities for e-commerce development and continuously expanded marketing channels and markets through “online live broadcast + offline traffic diversion” space.
Geng Shukai, a first-level researcher of the Suning County Party Committee and leader of the county fur industry leading group, said that currently, there are more than 3,000 fur processing enterprises and purchase and sales stalls in Suning County, with annual sales of more than 10 million pieces of various types of fur clothing and apparel. The annual transaction volume reaches 25 billion yuan, and the online sales rate exceeds 20%.
