In 2022, with the support of Jiangsu-Shaanxi cooperation funds, Shiquan County, Shaanxi Province organized and implemented a project to improve the co-breeding capacity of small silkworms, which effectively stimulated the county’s sericulture industry Transformation and upgradingto increase farmers’ income.
The implementation site of this project involves 3 towns and 4 villages. The county sericulture center organized and implemented the upgrade of small silkworm co-breeding equipment, the construction of a professional sericulture rural training base, the labor-saving breeding demonstration of large sericulture, the application of sericulture machinery for large sericulture households, sericulture The construction of “five major projects” such as pest and disease prevention and control has established a sericulture production demonstration model for small silkwormsintelligent, large silkworms for labor-saving, equipment modernization, technology standardization, and large-scale planting and breeding. . As of the end of November, it has been fully completed. The implementation of this project has greatly improved the equipment level, technological content, production capacity and cocoon production capacity of sericulture in the project area. Explore and form a new sericulture production and management model of “leading enterprises + village collective joint-stock economic cooperatives + capable people and large households”, forming a typical model that can be copied and suitable for promotion, leading the transformation and upgrading of Shiquan’s sericulture industry and highQualitydevelopment. The project directly benefited 101 farmers (18 households involved in the development of sericulture, 83 households engaged in sericulture, and 47 households lifted out of poverty) and 394 people (including 199 people lifted out of poverty and 83 migrant workers), and increased the income of farmers by 1.486 million yuan. Among them, the development of the sericulture industry EmploymentIncome increased by 1.153 million yuan, and employment in sericulture and sericulture increased by 333,000 yuan. The per capita income of silkworm farmers increased by 3,772 yuan.
