Vietnam exported US$2.518 billion in textile and clothing in December 2020, an increase of 12.33% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 15.27%; exports of yarn were 110,800 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 35.14% and a year-on-year decrease of 32.58%. .
From January to December 2020, Vietnam exported textiles and clothing to US$29.332 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.16%; exported yarn was 1.6661 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.85%.
In December 2020, Vietnam imported 128,600 tons of cotton, an increase of 15.2% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 26.34%; imported yarn was 113,000 tons, an increase of 12.19% month-on-month, and a year-on-year increase of 12.19%. An increase of 11.35%; imported fabrics were US$1.23 billion, an increase of 10.49% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 7.08%.
