The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
On November 21, 2017, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) and Woolino jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The products recalled this time are children’s pajamas, 100% merino wool, single-piece, long-sleeved, and covered with feet. Colors include a horizontal stripe print in blue, grey, lavender or lilac and a zipper that runs from collar to ankle. The sizes of this pajama are suitable for babies 6-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months and 2 years old. Woolino’s name and size are printed on the back of the neckline of the pajamas.
Approximately 4,100 pieces of the recalled products were sold at ClothesPony and CaroBambino stores in the United States as well as online stores at Amazon.com, Zulily.com, and Woolino.com from May 2015 to November 2017. The unit price is about US$50-60. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet the requirements of the US Federal Regulations on the Flammability Standard for Children’s Pajamas, posing a risk of burns to children. So far, no reports of accidents or injuries have been received.
The U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Woolino to obtain a full refund. The United States implements a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas
