Modernization in which man and nature coexist harmoniously is an important feature and essential requirement of Chinese-style modernization. The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that we should coordinately promote carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion and growth, and promote ecological priority, conservation and intensive, green and low-carbon development. Green development is the fundamental strategy to solve the problem of resource and environmental constraints, an important way to build a modern industrial system, and an inevitable choice to achieve highquality development. The printing and dyeing industry plays an important linking role in the textile industry chain, and is a key link and important manifestation of the green development of the textile industry.
In order to speed up the construction of an industrial system for green, low-carbon and circular development, and further promote the green and low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of the industry, the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association held the “Mingkui Conference” in Jinjiang City, Fujian Province from June 18 to 20, 2023. •2023 National Printing and Dyeing Industry Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Annual Conference”. The conference will focus on discussions and exchanges around the latest national environmental management policies, the research and development and application of green and low-carbon technologies and equipment in the printing and dyeing industry, and efficient printing and dyeing wastewater and gas treatment technologies.
