Tongsheng Textile was established in November 2020, with a total project investment of 250 million yuan and an area of 57 acres. It is a weaving enterprise engaged in the integration of weaving, dyeing and sales of canvas fabrics such as bags and shoe uppers. Xu Bing, the person in charge, said that the output value of Tongsheng Textile in the first quarter of this year was more than 20 million yuan, and the annual output value is expected to be more than 200 million yuan.
The development of the enterprise has led to employment for many local people. 70% of the more than 200 workers working in Tongsheng Textile come from surrounding towns and villages. The popularity of orders has also bulged the workers’ money bags, with monthly wages ranging from 6,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan.
According to He Zhongwu, director of the Pingnan County Textile and Garment Industry Service Center, 15 weaving companies have been put into operation in the park, with annual weaving of approximately 220,000 tons, achieving an output value of 5.8 billion yuan, and a tax revenue of 200 million yuan.
