From April 13 to 14, 2023, the 2022 National Silkworm Variety Test Review Meeting was held in Nanning City, Guangxi. The meeting was hosted by the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, the Sericulture Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Guangxi Silkworm Research Institute Co-organized by the Industrial Technology Promotion Station, Wei Bo, full-time deputy director of the Agricultural Office of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Dai Fangyin, chief scientist of the National Sericulture Industry Technology System and leader of the Sericulture Professional Committee of the National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee, attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed and approved the 2022 National Silkworm Breed Test Summary Report, recommended and discussed new participating varieties, and formulated the 2023 National Silkworm Breed Test Implementation Plan.
