Strengthen funding guarantees, allocate 10 million yuan of special funds every year to promote the construction of “China Sangdu”, integrate industrial strong towns, special bonds and other funds to promote the strong and orderly development of “China Sangdu” construction.
The Bombyx silkworm industry cultivates “single champions”
Focusing on the goal of building the “Hometown of Chinese Bombyx Silkworms”, Lezhi County relied on 300 million yuan in special debt funds to build a zombie silkworm planting and processing base. At present, supporting facilities such as a planting base of 3,000 acres in the core area, a Bombyx silkworm co-breeding center of 500 square meters, a Bombyx silkworm intelligent factory of 3,500 square meters, and a Bombyx silkworm technology center of 600 square meters have been built.
At the same time, we have jointly built an expert workstation with Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and signed a special cooperation agreement with Southwest University to provide extensive services in feed sericulture, planting and breeding cycle, and talent cultivation. In terms of brand creation, we insist on standardized and large-scale breeding of zombie silkworms, and continuously consolidate the characteristics of Lezhi zombie silkworms such as “straight strips, white color, large silkworm body, and black cross-section”. The annual output and annual output value of zombie silkworms rank first in Sichuan First place in the province.
Build a “demonstration base” around the park
Through special debt funds, Lezhi County has also built a modern sericulture park of 25,000 acres, attracting 8 enterprises and 210 owners including Hongqi Silk and Hunan Sanxu to enter the park for business development; leveraging 80 million yuan of social funds, Complete basic supporting facilities such as an intelligent sericulture factory and China Sangdu Cultural Exhibition Hall, becoming a window for external display and promotion of Lezhi Sericulture.
At the same time, we insist on concentrating investment, projects and technology in the park, and build a smart sericulture demonstration base of 10,000 acres and a smart silkworm house of 38,000 square meters. In addition, we have innovated the “settlement with a bag” and “rent-back” models to introduce owners to settle in the park. At present, four high-quality cocoon demonstration bases have been built, with an average cocoon yield of more than 45 kilograms per unit.
Extension of the entire chain to create a “LeZhi Model”
In terms of product research and development and industrial extension, Lezhi County insists on being the main body of enterprises. Currently, there are 15 sericulture companies in the county, such as Merson Pharmaceuticals, Diplomat, and Derenyuan, and have developed more than 60 kinds of sericulture products. There are 4 expert workstations and 23 national invention patents, forming a complete industrial system integrating traditional breeding and comprehensive resource development.
In addition, Lezhi County adheres to the development idea of ”sericulture +” and extends the chain to promote the integrated development of sericulture, cultural industry, agriculture, tourism, and brands. A multi-business functional area including smart sericulture, cultural exhibition, and popular science education has been built. “Sangdu Sanghai” has won the national 3A-level scenic spot, “Lezhi Silkworm Cocoon” and “Lezhiraw silk” Obtained the National Geographical Indication certification; CCTV has visited Lezhi three times, and media such as “Sichuan Daily” and “China News Network” have repeatedly published the development results of Lezhi’s sericulture industry.
