Fujian Textile and Clothing Conference and “Hand in Hand” event was held
Recently, the Fujian Textile and Garment Conference and “Hand in Hand” event were held in Sanming City. 23 textile companies reached product purchase and investment intentions on site, including supply and demand procurement contracts of 1.27 billion yuan, investment contracts of 690 million yuan, and bank credit contracts of 710 million yuan on site.
This event is guided by the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Sanming Municipal People’s Government, and hosted by the Fujian Textile Industry Association and the Sanming Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau. At the event, experts from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Alibaba, and Xiamen Bank gave keynote speeches on finance, digital transformation, foreign trade, etc., and companies such as 361 Degrees, Jingwei New Fiber, and Donglong Knitting shared their innovation results and development and application experience.
Textiles, shoes and clothing are the traditional pillar industries of Fujian Province. In recent years, Fujian has formulated and introduced a series of policy measures and established a special class for industrial development to promote highqualitydevelopment of the industry.
According to reports, in 2022, Fujian Province’s textile and garment industry will achieve revenue of 882 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%, and its volume will rise to third in the country. At the same time, the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology was the first in the country to set up a 5 billion yuan bailout loan for the textile, footwear and apparel industry, and promoted the holding of dozens of “hand-in-hand” activities for market development and supply and demand docking, promoting the industry to achieve stability and progress.
