“Light of Textiles” Application for the 2023 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award Begins

The ChinaTextile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award was established with the approval of the National Science and Technology Award Office (National Science Award Society Certificate No. 0093), aiming to reward those who have achieved basic results in the textile industry. Units or individuals who have made outstanding contributions in research, technological innovation, promotion of scientific and technological achievements, and industrialization. The China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation issues honorary certificates to award-winning units and individuals, and the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation awards prizes. Projects that win the first prize of the Technology Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award will be nominated for the National Science and Technology Award. In order to complete the application for the 2023 China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.
1. Application requirements
Please strictly follow the “China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation Science and Technology Award Measures” and the “China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award Measures Implementation Rules” to complete the project application work.
1. The projects accepting applications for the Technology Invention Award and the Science and Technology Progress Award this time are projects that have passed the appraisal and acceptance organized by relevant government departments at or above the prefectural level or the China Textile Industry Federation since 2018 (inclusive). Technological inventions and scientific and technological progress projects have been industrialized for at least one year (except basic research projects); soft science projects have been adopted by relevant departments for more than one year; technical standard projects have been implemented for more than one year.
2. Confidential projects will not be accepted.
3. If the project that applied for the first prize is unsuccessful in the review, it will not be downgraded to the second prize.
4. The completing unit shall apply directly to the Science and Technology Award Office of China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation.
2. Application materials
The “China Textile and Apparel Industry Federation Science and Technology Award Application Form” is the main basis for judging and awarding. The content should be complete and true, and the text description should be accurate and objective.
Application materials include online application and written materials:
1. Online application: Log in to China Textile Technology (www.cntextech.org.cn), click “China Textile Federation Science and Technology Award” in the “I want to apply” column to enter the China Textile Industry Federation Science and Technology Award comprehensive business management platform Report after registration. (Note: Units that have already registered an account need to re-register every year when reporting.)
2. Written materials: After submitting the online application, download and print the “Declaration Form” and bind it with the attachments into a volume. The first page of the “Declaration Form” will be used as the cover, without additional cover, in duplicate (1 original).
Application materials will not be returned. If the samples provided need to be returned, please indicate this.
Three. Defense
Projects that are recommended to be awarded first prize after review at the meeting need to be defended. Please prepare in advance for projects that apply for first prize.
1. Defense format
Online defense. The respondent must record a project introduction PPT electronic presentation video in advance (hand it to the conference team before the defense). Each presentation video shall not exceed 12 minutes. The respondent answers expert questions online, and the questioning time shall not exceed 8 minutes.
2. Defense content
Concisely introduce the background of the project, the overall idea, the main technological innovation points (invention points) and related technical content, main technical parameters and economic indicators, comparison with similar domestic and foreign technologies, third-party evaluation, application promotion and economic and social benefits. , the role and significance of promoting scientific and technological progress in the industry and improving the innovation capabilities of the industry.
3. Other matters
(1) The main respondent must be one of the first three main completers of the project.
(2) The number of people participating in the defense for each project shall not exceed 3.
(3) Information related to the defense will be notified separately.
