Look at the output:
The XPCC’s total output is 2.154 million tons, accounting for 36% of the country’s total flower output and 40% of Xinjiang’s total cotton output. The total cotton output has remained stable at more than 2 million tons for five consecutive years, an increase of 3.4%.
The Corps’ cotton yield per unit area is 168.8 kilograms, a new high in the past 10 years, which is 1.27 times and 1.29 times the national average unit yield and the autonomous region’s average unit yield respectively, an increase of 9.2 kilograms or 5.8% compared with 2021.
Look at the area:
The XPCC planted 12.7588 million acres of cotton, accounting for 28.4% of the country’s cotton sown area and 34.1% of Xinjiang’s cotton sown area. The XPCC’s cotton was further concentrated in advantageous cotton areas, with the area slightly reduced, a year-on-year decrease of 293,000 acres, a decrease of 2.2%. .
The “dry sowing and wet planting” technology has been promoted in Nanjiang City to an area of 1.3 million acres, accounting for 30.5% of the total cotton planting area in Nanjiang City. Among them, Alar City of the First Division, Tiemenguan City of the Second Division, and Tumushuk City of the Third Division reached 435,000 acres, 195,000 acres, and 670,000 acres respectively. The large-scale promotion of “dry sowing and wet planting” technology has improved the cotton seedling preservation rate, achieved uniform seedlings, strong and even seedlings, and promoted the cotton growth process.
Look at quality:
As of mid-January this year, nearly 80% of the Corps’ cotton has been inspected by public inspections. Compared with the autonomous region and the country, the Corps’ cotton color grade, ginning quality, average length, micronaire value, average length uniformity, and average breakage ratio Six indicators including strength are higher than the levels of the autonomous region and the country for the same period, and the overall level has reached the “Double 29” level. Among them, the proportion of micronaire A+B levels has increased significantly, reaching 93.86%, which is the best level in history.
