Guangzhou City Supervisor: 25 batches of labor protection supplies were randomly inspected and 10 batches were found to be unqualified
Recently, the Guangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation announced the results of the 2022 Guangzhou labor protection product quality supervision and spot inspection.
In 2022, the Guangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation conducted supervision and random inspections on the quality of labor protection products. A total of 25 batches of samples were randomly inspected. After inspection, 10 batches of products did not meet the standard requirements.
This spot check is based on GB 2811-2019 “Safety Helmet”, GB 8965.1-2020 “Protective Clothing Flame Retardant Protection Part 1: Flame Retardant Clothing”, GB 12014-2019 “Anti-static Clothing”, GB 21148-2020 ” “Foot Protection Safety Shoes”, GB/T 17622-2008 “Insulated Gloves for Live Work” and other standards, the quality, wearing height, vertical spacing, horizontal spacing, protrusions in the cap shell, impact absorption performance (high temperature, low temperature, water immersion) ), puncture resistance (high temperature, low temperature, water immersion), chin strap strength, lateral rigidity (applicable to special types), fabric flame retardancy, fabric breaking strength, fabric tearing strength, fabric moisture permeability, fabric bending length, Fabric pilling, fabric thermal stability, fabric color fastness to washing, fabric color fastness to water, fabric color fastness to rubbing, fabric color fastness to perspiration, dimensional change rate of finished products after washing, crotch seam of finished pants and shoulder seam strength, finished product formaldehyde content limit, finished product pH value limit, fabric point-to-point resistance, fabric breathability, clothing electrical charge, clothing accessories, clothing sewing, clothing size change rate, shoe impact resistance, shoe pressure resistance properties, finished shoe upper/outsole bonding strength, upper tear strength (leather upper), upper tensile properties, upper folding resistance (full rubber, full polymer shoes), outsole tear strength (non-leather outsole), Outsole wear resistance, outsole folding resistance, electrical properties of conductive shoes (additional conductive properties), electrical insulation properties (additional electrical insulation properties), electrical properties of anti-static shoes (additional properties of static electricity), puncture strength of finished shoes, marking , tensile strength, tensile permanent deformation, mechanical puncture resistance, mechanical puncture resistance, wear resistance, cutting resistance, tear resistance, electrical performance requirements, aging resistance performance requirements, low temperature resistance, flame retardant Performance, marking and other items are inspected.
Main unqualified items and situation analysis
1. Electrical insulation properties
Electrically insulating shoes insulate the human body from the ground, prevent current from forming a path between the human body and the earth, causing electric shock damage to the human body, and minimize the risk of electric shock. The uppers and soles of electrically insulating shoes should be made of non-conductive insulating materials, and metal parts or accessories cannot be used. The electrically insulating shoes inspected this time use metal parts, which affects the electrical insulation performance of the product and increases the risk of electric shock injury to workers.
2. Chinstrap strength
The strength of the chin strap is an extremely important testing indicator in the quality of helmets. A chinstrap is a strap that is tied around the chin to hold it in place. On the one hand, the chin strap can assist the helmet band to enhance the wearing stability, and on the other hand, it can make wearing more convenient. Even if the helmet accidentally falls off, the operator can quickly put it on. This ensures timely protection and avoids injuries caused by accidental falling off of the helmet. However, during the use of the helmet, due to the excessive strength of the chin strap, it is likely to cause injury to the operator’s neck in the event of a collision or fall, and in severe cases, may cause suffocation.
3.Quality
Due to the particularity of the environment in which the helmet is used, the product is worn on the head when used and the user has to participate in the operation, which protects the human body. The national mandatory standard GB 2811-2019 “Head Protection Helmet” clearly states It stipulates the quality of safety helmets: ordinary safety helmets should not exceed 430g; special safety helmets should not exceed 600g; the relative error between the actual quality of the product and the marked quality should not be greater than 5%.
4. Logo/marking: Labor protection products are a kind of defensive equipment necessary for personal safety and health of special working groups in specific working environments. Users should choose the corresponding protection category according to different working places. The severity of risk factors should also be considered and products with different protection levels should be selected. Product identification is very important information for labor protection products. For consumers who purchase and use, product identification information is particularly important. If the product identification is incorrect, there is a risk of misuse or misuse.
