At the same time, through the demonstration cooperation of modern silkworm breeding gardens, special service guidance from leading eastern companies and local agricultural technology departments was implemented to implement the “ten unified standards” of “cultivation models, mulberry varieties, management, pest control, fertilization, and silkworm breeding standards” ” to effectively promote the development of rural sericulture industry.
Establish a “three-in-one” expert technical team. In 2022, 500,000 yuan of Guangdong-Guangxi collaboration funds will be invested to implement the science and technology correspondent service project, introducing 5 industry scientific research experts from the east and mulberry cultivation and planting management technology, and establishing a three-combination expert technical team of “science and technology correspondent + leading enterprise + agricultural technology department” , cultivate a group of new talents in the silkworm industry, and effectively improve the quality of silkworm planting and breeding. At present, more than 20 samples of soil and mulberry leaves have been sampled and tested, and more than 100 sericulture professional technicians have been trained in 12 towns and villages in the county. The survival rate of sericulture has increased from 60% to more than 90%.
Strengthen the construction of agricultural cooperation mechanisms and give full play to the benefits of increasing industrial income
The silkworm industry is a characteristic pillar industry in Xincheng County. There are more than 70,000 silkworm farmers and an area of more than 260,000 acres of mulberry gardens. The two places adhere to the concept of “industry for the people + development to benefit the people” and take the construction of Sanjiangkou (Xincheng) Cocoon and Silk Industrial Park as an opportunity to establish and improve a mechanism for linking agriculture with agriculture.

The park signed long-term guaranteed purchase agreements between enterprises and cooperatives, covering 4,094 rural households, including 1,396 households that have been lifted out of poverty, ensuring that the income of farmers is not affected by market fluctuations. Maximize the efficiency of funds. The income generated by investing 45.26 million yuan in collaborative funds into the park will be distributed to poverty-stricken village collectives according to a certain proportion, providing a strong guarantee for village-level collectives to develop industries and drive people to increase their income and become rich. At present, 1.4312 million yuan in economic benefits have been distributed to 45 poverty-stricken villages, benefiting 40,300 people who have been lifted out of poverty. The implementation of the project will lead to the improvement of about 500,000 acres of mulberry gardens in Xincheng County and surrounding areas, increasing income by 4,000-6,000 yuan per mu. After the park reaches full capacity, it is expected to provide 15,000 jobs and bring more benefits to the local people in the primary, secondary and tertiary industries to increase their income and make them rich.
