The 14th China University Textile Design Competition was held in Keqiao
Recently, the 14th “Donjin Cup” China University Textile Design Competition was held at the Collaborative Innovation Center of Printing and Dyeing Industry Engineers in Keqiao District. This competition is sponsored by the China Textile and Clothing Education Society and hosted by Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences, Shaoxing Textile Engineering Society and Shaoxing Keqiao District Printing and Dyeing Industry Aggregation and Upgrading Service Center.
This year’s College Textile Design Competition received a total of 1,797 works from 42 domestic universities including Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences, Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Suzhou University, Tianjin University of Technology, Xi’an Polytechnic University, etc., covering “knitwear fabric design” There are five major fields: woven fabric design, fabric design for home textile decoration, fiber art and material re-engineering design, and fabric pattern design.
It is reported that the concept of the competition is to use digital technology functionsnew materials to highlight the low-carbon concept and energy savingenvironmental protection Characteristics of technological innovation, entries include: textile yarn fiber combination, organizational structure, dyeing and finishing technology and other forming and deep processing methods, appearance style design, and pattern weaving and printing (including bedding, sofas, scarves, wall coverings, etc.) Pattern creativity and its application effect design. After rigorous formal review and expert review, a total of 1 special prize, 54 first prizes, 169 second prizes and 362 third prizes were finally selected.
It is understood that the China University Textile Design Competition is an important national professional subject competition and has great influence in the field of higher education in the national textile industry. Since its opening in 2009, it has discovered many “emerging” textile design talents for enterprises, further promoting the in-depth integration of the education chain, talent chain and industrial chain.
