Changji, Xinjiang: Self-propelled cotton pickers operate in cotton fields
On October 7, Xinjiang Changji National Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone relied on platforms such as the Western Agricultural Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the National Cotton Industry Alliance to adopt the “one factory, one product” model to unify varieties, Unified harvesting and unified sales. Currently, there are 37 machines (sets) entering the site, more than 60 cotton picker operators, and more than 300 ginner staff, effectively ensuring the normal harvesting and processing of cotton. So far, more than 30,000 acres of high-quality cotton have been harvested from 100,000 acres.
