On October 8, the construction of the intelligent and intensive sericulture demonstration base project in Jianhe County, Guizhou Province officially started, marking the start of mulberry farming in Jianhe County Silkworms have entered industrialization and large-scale development. Yuan Shangkai, Secretary of the Jianhe County Committee of the Communist Party of China, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
Chen Jiayong, member of the Standing Committee of the County Committee and Deputy County Magistrate, Wan Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the County Committee and Director of the County Committee Office, and Xia Yongzhong, Vice Chairman of the County CPPCC attended the event.
At the event, Lin Xiqun, chairman of Guizhou Liangjingjing Biotechnology Co., Ltd., who is responsible for the project construction, gave a detailed introduction to the project construction status and industrial prospects. The project was launched in Zhenjiang Village, Liuchuan Town, and promoted the process of the sericulture industry in Jianhe County through the development positioning of “Red Zhenjiang, Green Sericulture, and Joint Construction of Rural Revitalization”.
It is reported that the total investment of the sericulture demonstration base project is more than 10 million yuan, which is mainly used for silkworm seed cultivation, young silkworm greening, co-breeding and cocoon drying. After the project is completed, more than 16,000 silkworm seeds can be cultivated and dried every year. There are more than 800 tons of silkworm cocoons, and the annual agricultural output value is expected to reach more than 40 million yuan.
On the same day, Yuan Shangkai and his party also went to the silkworm house in Wuku Village, Liuchuan Town to check the situation of silkworm breeding on the spot. He emphasized that it is necessary to make full use of resource advantages, adapt to local conditions, recite the “Shan Zi Jing” well, plant good “money trees”, and explore a modern and efficient agricultural development path with mountainous characteristics; it is necessary to rely on Shanghai Star Holdings Group and Guizhou Liangjingjing Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Jian We will use this opportunity to cooperate with the Yangtze River to promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional sericulture industry, update technology, and make the entire industry chain bigger and stronger; we must use the “company + cooperative + farmer” model to drive farmers to actively Participate in planting mulberry and raising silkworms to increase industrial efficiency and increase farmers’ income.
Yuan Shangkai requested that townships and relevant departments should make good arrangements to provide service support for project construction and ensure that the project is completed and put into operation as soon as possible.
