Today’s meeting is the first work summary since the fifth council of the China Textile Federation was re-elected. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has directly attacked the accumulated shortcomings, strengthened the rectification and eliminated the evil, and integrated style construction into all fields of national and national undertakings at a new height and intensity. On June 27, we successfully held the fifth member congress and the first council of the fifth session of the China Textile Federation. The reelection work is a concentrated test of the results of comprehensive and strict governance of the party, and is a concrete manifestation of the good political ecology of the China Textile Federation. The good ecology has enabled the China Textile Federation to resolutely implement the relevant work arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council in this year’s complex and severe external environment, maintain focus, make progress while maintaining stability, and maintain the steady development of the industry.

Research results play an important role in supporting decision-making and formulating policies.
China Textile Federation actively promotes the construction of industry media, strengthens publicity and guidance, promotes the main theme, and stimulates positive energy. Through CCTV’s “Focus Interview” program, China Daily and other mainstream media, the industry’s development achievements and future vision were introduced, which aroused strong responses in society. Assist the representatives of the textile industry’s “Two Sessions” to formulate proposals to reflect industry demands and strive for development support, “Recommendations on Further Strengthening the Strategic Basic Capacity Building of the Industrial Textiles Industry” and “Recommendations on Promoting the Development and Application of Domestic High-Performance Fiber Materials” This proposal was designated as a national key proposal by the National People’s Congress and ordered to be processed. Use platforms such as the International Textile Federation to convey China’s propositions and solutions to the world; express its position on the so-called “Xinjiang-related bill” and safeguard the legitimate interests of the industry. Relevant work has created a good social environment and international environment for industrial development.
(2) Serving enterprises and making important contributions to stabilizing the economic market
Faced with the impact of the epidemic and the international situation, China Textile Federation has used multiple channels to understand the situation of enterprises and provide services. Stabilize market entities, help affected companies resume work and production as soon as possible, resolve difficulties such as trade obstruction, order fluctuations, and insufficient demand, and ensure the safety and stability of industrial and supply chains. Organize a number of cloud online communication activities for entrepreneurs to understand their demands and make suggestions for enterprises. Carry out industrial and financial cooperation consulting services and promote the successful connection between three enterprises and capital.
