In addition to the research and development of new products and new technologies, working together to solve industry problems has also become the goal of cooperation between many enterprises and institutions. “In the field of home care for the elderly, the separation of hardware equipment and software systems has always been a pain point in the industry.” Wu Xiaolong, general manager of Zhejiang Yibailong Technology Co., Ltd., said that the company focuses on hardware products, but the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce. In order to enhance the competitiveness of the industry, last year, the company cooperated with Zhejiang University of Technology Zhijiang College to jointly develop an intelligent elderly care emergency alarm system based on industry pain points, connecting hardware equipment and cloud systems. At present, the first-generation system has been developed and is being negotiated with elderly care institutions and others for trial use. By integrating the resources of scientific research institutes and advantageous enterprises in the textile field, our district has currently gathered 21 textile innovation service institutions, including the Provincial Modern Textile Technology Innovation Center (Jianhu Laboratory) and the Provincial Modern Textile Industry Innovation Service Complex and other high-energy platforms to solve the “stuck neck” problem in the development of the textile industry and create a first-class domestic research and innovation center for modern textile technology. Among them, the Provincial Modern Textile Industry Innovation Service Complex has formed a 10-minute modern textile innovation belt along Jinkeqiao Avenue, and has transformed more than 70 scientific and technological achievements.
At the same time, our district also actively organizes scientific and technological service personnel to go deep into the front lines of enterprise production and life, ask about the situation, provide services, and accelerate scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation. According to statistics, this year our district has organized scientific and technological service personnel to visit more than 630 textile companies and provided various innovative services more than 1,400 times.
