On July 14, workers sorted silkworm cocoons in the production workshop of Guizhou Baoruijia Silk Co., Ltd. in Mei’e Community, Congjiang County.
In recent years, Congjiang County, Guizhou Province has insisted on party building to lead industrial development, taking the cocoon and silk industry as a characteristic industry to enrich the people and strengthen the county, and strive to build a sericulture, cocoon and silk industry chain with a full assembly line of planting, processing and finished product sales. The silk fabrics, clothing and other products produced are sold well in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Annual sales reach more than 50 million yuan, directly driving nearly 3,000 people in the county to increase their income.
