In January 2020, Ningxia Kunpeng Clean Energy Co., Ltd.’s 400,000-ton coal-to-ethylene glycol project was fully implemented and completed multiple design reviews, including preliminary design review of power island, gasification 90% model review of the unit, 60% model review of the purification unit, 60% model review of the air separation unit, HAZOP analysis review of the ethylene glycol unit, etc.
Ningxia Kunpeng Clean Energy Co., Ltd.’s 400,000-ton-annual coal-to-ethylene glycol project is one of the key projects of the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base. The project is located in the Ningdong Base Chemical New Materials Park, with a total investment of 4.33 billion. Yuan, uses coal as raw material to produce syngas, and then uses syngas as raw material to generate ethylene glycol, co-alcohol, hydrogen and other products. The main construction content includes gasification, conversion and heat recovery, low-temperature methanol washing, PSA hydrogen production, CO deep There are 10 sets of main production equipment such as cold separation, combined alcohol equipment, sulfur recovery, and ethylene glycol, and supporting public and auxiliary facilities such as circulating water plants, sewage treatment stations, tank farms, loading and unloading, and flares. It is planned to clear the entire process on June 30, 2021.
The ethylene glycol unit adopts the high-chemical synthesis gas to produce ethylene glycol process, and the gasification unit adopts the Shenning pulverized coal gasification process. Ningxia Kunpeng Clean Energy Co., Ltd. was established in August 2018. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ningxia Baoli New Energy with a registered capital of 1.5 billion yuan.
