What is Oxford cloth rotary screen printing?

The basic structure of the rotary screen printing machine is similar to that of the fully automatic flat screen printing machine. The difference is that the pattern of the printing machine is a round plate. It is made of metal, with a hexagonal mesh, and the squeegee blade is made of aluminum, Luo/steel alloy. During printing, the rotary screen rotates at a fixed position on the Oxford cloth, and the Oxford cloth moves forward with the rewinding of the cycle. The printing paste is squeezed through the mesh through the squeegee inside the rotary screen and printed onto the Oxford cloth. Rotary screen printing uses automatic slurry feeding. After all colors are printed, the fabric enters the drying device for drying.

The difference between rotary screen printing and flat screen printing

Rotary screen printing has the characteristics of low labor intensity, high production efficiency, and strong adaptability to fabrics. It can obtain lively patterns and bright colors, but it is not suitable for patterns with structures such as moire and snowflakes. Subject to certain restrictions, the pattern size is also limited by the circumference of the rotary screen.

Fully automatic flat screen printing has the characteristics of low labor intensity and high production efficiency. Moreover, the size of the pattern and the number of colors are not limited, and the fabric is basically free during printing. It is subject to tension, but if a cold platen is used, color matching defects are prone to occur during continuous printing.
