At present, the 1332 type trough-type winding machine, which is widely used by cotton textile enterprises in my country, has a simple structure, is easy to use, consumes less electricity, and has low cost of use. However, since the winding part of this machine uses bakelite troughs, there are problems such as serious static electricity and uneven yarn passages, which makes the hairiness of the yarn after winding much more than that of the yarn wound on the high-speed automatic winding machine. This is one of the main reasons why the package yarn produced by the domestic 1332 type winder does not meet the production requirements of the air-jet loom. So, how to reduce hairiness on the 1332 grooved drum winder?
1 Reduce hairiness by adjusting the process. Winding process parameters: such as the weight of the tension disk, the spacing of the yarn clearing plate, the size of the yarn guide distance, etc., if not adjusted properly, will have an impact on hairiness. When adjusting these parameters, be sure to adjust their size according to the winding number, otherwise the hairiness on the yarn will increase.
2 Reduce hairiness by strengthening equipment maintenance. The parts of the yarn passage part on the machine, such as the edges and corners of the yarn guide groove of the winding drum, the surface of the yarn guide rod, the balloon break, and the yarn guide magnetic plate must be smooth and clean.
3 Reduce hairiness by adopting appropriate winding speed. Under the possible conditions, a lower winding speed should be appropriately selected to reduce the winding tension. This is one of the methods to reduce yarn hairiness.
4. Reduce the number of windings as much as possible. After the yarn is wound, the hairiness increases, and the CV% value of the hairiness distribution decreases. The more times the yarn is wound, the more the hairiness increases. therefore. During production, the number of winding times should be minimized and the rewinding of the package yarn should be minimized.
5. The glue drum used on the 1332 type winding machine will generate static electricity when the yarn is rubbed, which will increase the hairiness of the yarn, especially when processing coarse yarns and chemical fiber blended yarns. The hairiness is more serious. Therefore, it is necessary to consider changing the bakelite trough to a metal trough during equipment modification to reduce the generation of hairiness.
6. Installing a balloon controller on the 1332 winding machine is currently an important measure to reduce hairiness of the winding machine. Through production practice, it has been shown that the winding machine without a balloon controller has more than 2 times more spun yarn hairiness after winding than before winding, while the winding hairiness is significantly reduced after the balloon controller is installed. Even if the winding speed increases after installing the balloon controller, the hairiness will be reduced.
7 Hairiness can also occur when the yarns rub against each other. Therefore, the friction between the bobbin yarn dropped from the spinning machine or the wrapped cone yarn during the unwinding, transportation, and storage processes will also produce hairiness. To reduce this part of hairiness. The reasons why the automatic winding machine has a lot of yarn waste:
