Flame retardant testing standards for flame retardant testing of welding clothing

Proban is a flame retardant additive and a flame retardant process. The flame retardant fabrics produced by this process have many advantages and are widely used. The Proban flame retardant process originated from the British Aowei Company. The main ingredients are low-molecular precondensates of tetrahydroxymethylphosphorus chloride (THPC) and amide. After the fabric is padded with flame retardant, the pre-shrunk body formed by THPC and amide penetrates into the amorphous area and interstices of the fiber. Then during ammonia fumigation, NH3 cross-links with the hydroxymethyl group in the pre-shrunk body to form a fiber inside the fiber. The flame retardant polymer is then oxidized to stabilize it. Therefore, the fabric treated by the Proban method feels soft and loses strength, while basically maintaining the comfort and durability of the fabric. Proban is a water-soluble flame retardant that easily penetrates into the fiber. After a chemical reaction with ammonia fumigation, it becomes a high-molecular polymer and forms permanent cross-links, giving it durable flame retardant properties. This flame retardant property It does not decrease with the increase of washing times. At the same time, this kind of flame-retardant finishing does not change the original characteristics of the fabric fibers, thus maintaining the original properties of the fabric. This kind of flame-retardant cloth has the characteristics of charring when exposed to fire, self-extinguishing when removed from the fire, and effectively preventing the spread of flames. Protective clothing made of it can effectively prevent flames from causing damage to the human body and provide effective safety protection for the human body. The development of PROBAN enables fabrics made of natural fibers to have reliable flame retardant properties and good durability, making them suitable for use in modern daily life and professional work environments.
