The purpose of splitting flowers
The so-called split flower is to determine the starting and ending positions of the small color warp arrangement of a warp color cycle. Its main purpose is to make it easy to put together the pattern when taking it, and to make it easy to sort out when finishing, so that the color of the cloth surface is symmetrical. Not to one side. If the flowers are split improperly, the integrity of the flower pattern will be affected during the mosaic process, and it will not be in line with the principles of economy, usefulness and beauty. For example: a product has 20 edge yarns x 2, and the inner warp color loop is 50 red yarns, 10 yellow yarns, and 10 white yarns, a total of 30 flowers. The following method is used to arrange: 20 border yarns, 50 red yarns, 10 yellow yarns, 10 white strands… 10 white strands and 20 edge strands. The result of arranging them in the above way is: the red is darker on the left and the white is lighter on the right. Whether it is strip fabric or plaid fabric, when sewing, these strips or plaid will deviate to one side. It will damage the appearance of the fabric. If the red half is used as the starting point, the arrangement method is changed to: 20 edges, 24 red threads, 10 yellow threads, 10 white threads… 10 white threads, 26 red threads, and 20 edge threads. When the red was cut in half, there were 25 reeds on each side, which was inconvenient to reed, so it was changed to 24 on one side and 26 on the other. Arranging the patterns in this way can make both sides of the fabric appear symmetrical or nearly symmetrical, which can increase the appearance of the fabric.
