Oleophobol C is a hydrophilic fluorine-containing oil-repellent and water-repellent finishing agent produced by the Swiss Ciba Company. Its structure is an acrylic block copolymer containing fluorinated alkyl branches and an oil-repellent fluorinated alkane chain. There are also hydrophilic groups. Fabrics after finishing can produce oil-repellent and easy-to-contaminate effects as the environment changes. In the atmospheric environment, the fluorine-containing segments are densely arranged on the surface of the fabric, forming a low surface tension, which can make the fabric repellent to oil stains. In water, the hydrophilic segments swell and buckle the polymer molecular chains. The hydrophilic segments are oriented and arranged on the surface of the fabric to make the fabric hydrophilic, resulting in easy decontamination and prevention of wet re-contamination. Therefore, the finishing agent does not need to add resin when used, the process is relatively simple, the operation is convenient, the fabric has good decontamination and easy decontamination effects, strong durability, soft hand feeling, and good air permeability.
The finishing process for pure cotton twill (which has been singed, scoured, silk-finished, and colored): two dips and two rollings at room temperature (liquid padding rate 90%) → drying at 110°C → 170°C, 60s Baking → finished product. Process prescription: Oleophobol C 40g/L, 60% HAc 2g/L, pH value 4~5.
