China buys cotton yarn from Turkmenistan
According to the Turkmenistan State News Agency, during the week from April 29 to May 5, 39 contracts were registered at the Turkmenistan State Commodity Raw Materials Exchange.
In terms of foreign exchange transactions, buyers from Russia, Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan purchase gasoline, polypropylene, high-density polyethylene, liquefied gas, urea, and industrial sulfur from Turkmenistan; the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey , Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan buyers buy colorless flat glass, Portland cement, and cotton yarn from Turkmenistan. The total contract value exceeds US$50.78 million.
In terms of local currency transactions, buyers from Russia, China, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates purchased cotton yarn from Turkmenistan, with a total transaction volume of approximately 7 million manats.
