Notice on soliciting opinions from enterprises on the U.S. Billion Dollar List
Relevant enterprises:
On July 10, the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced a list of proposals to impose a 10% tariff on $200 billion of Chinese products exported to the United States, including more than 1,000 tax numbers for textile and apparel products. After the United States publishes the list of recommendations, it will also go through procedures such as soliciting public opinions and hearings. The hearings will be held from August 20 to August 23, and the final results are expected to be announced after August 30.
In order to safeguard the interests of our export industry, we will actively organize companies exporting to the United States to respond and report the situation to the government in a timely manner. We are now inquiring about the opinions of relevant enterprises, including the impact on enterprise exports, response measures and policy suggestions. We will summarize and submit them to relevant government departments and provide comments to the United States on behalf of the industry.
