News: Imported cotton yarn is about 10,000 tons
According to customs statistics, my country imported approximately 170,400 tons of cotton yarn in August 2016, a year-on-year decrease of 17.94% and a month-on-month increase of 4.10%; from January to August 2016, my country imported a total of 1.297 million tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 19.31%; 2015/ In 2016 (2015.9-2016.8), my country imported a total of 2.0349 million tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 12.46%.
In August 2016, my country exported approximately 35,700 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 27.14%, and a slight decrease of 0.57% month-on-month; from January to August 2016, my country exported a total of 241,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 1.45%; in 2015/16 ( 2015.9-2016.8) my country’s cumulative exports of cotton yarn were 338,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.08%.
