Vietnam Textile Group establishes Southern Textile Corporation
According to a report by Vietnam’s “Investment News” on April 27, in order to implement the strategy of increasing investment speed in the new stage, Vietnam Textile Group has just established the Southern Textile Corporation. The company has a registered capital of 520 billion dong (approximately US$23.63 million) and its office is located at No. 10 Nguyen Hue Road, Ho Chi Minh City. Southern Textile Corporation is composed of the following five companies and projects: Dongjing Knitting Company, Yard-dyed Cloth Factory (Branch of Vietnam Textile Group), Kien Giang Sewing Factory (Branch of Vietnam Textile Group), Phu Cuong Yarn Factory Project, Can Tho sewing factory project, Bac Lieu sewing factory project. Pham Phu Qiang, director of the board of directors and deputy general manager of Vietnam Textile Group, serves as chairman of the membership committee of Southern Textile Corporation and general manager of the company.
