(2) When purchasing, pay attention to the instructions (logo) information of the product, including the name and address of the manufacturer, product name, product model or specification, fiber composition and content, maintenance methods, implemented product standards, and safety categories. Etc., try not to choose products with obviously incorrect identification information, incomplete content or even no identification.
(3) Children’s skin is relatively delicate, and soft and breathable fabrics should be chosen for close-fitting clothing or the close-fitting parts of clothing. Try to choose loose-fitting clothing to suit children’s active nature.
(4) Special attention should be paid to the problem of ropes on clothing, and clothing with no ropes or with few and short ropes should be selected. There should be no ropes on the head, neck, and back of the clothing. Other ropes should not exceed the length required for normal use. There should be no knots or three-dimensional decorations on the ends of the ropes (the decorations are thicker than the ropes, and when the ropes are pinched The decoration may be stuck and cannot be pulled out) to avoid safety accidents such as strangulation and entanglement.
(5) Children’s clothing with few decorations should be chosen. For all hard accessories, including zipper pullers, touch them with your hands to confirm whether there are sharp edges or points to avoid stabbing or scratching children’s skin when wearing them. In addition, gently pull the accessories such as beads to confirm whether they are firm, so as to avoid dangers such as suffocation caused by children pulling the accessories down and putting them in their mouths while wearing them.
(6) Try to choose light-colored clothing to reduce the risk of dye fastness problems. At the same time, pay attention to check whether there are pungent odors or other uncomfortable odors to avoid excessive chemical reagents that may affect children’s health.
(7) Newly purchased children’s clothing should be fully washed before wearing to reduce the damage to the skin caused by harmful substances and floating dyes remaining on the clothing. Try not to buy children’s clothing that can only be dry cleaned and not washed. The dry cleaning agent remaining on the clothing after dry cleaning will also affect children’s health.
