The Lyocell fiber production line project with an annual output of 60,000 tons passed the acceptance inspection

The acceptance meeting for the “Lyocell fiber production line construction project with an annual output of 60,000 tons” undertaken by General Technology New Materials China Textile Institute Green Fiber Co., Ltd. was recently held in Xinxiang, Henan.

The expert group listened to the report of the unit responsible for the project, reviewed the acceptance materials, and inspected the project production site. After questioning and discussion, they unanimously agreed that the project passed the acceptance, and recommended increasing the promotion of localized fiber technology and products. The project adopts a complete set of new solvent method cellulose fiber preparation technology and equipment with independent intellectual property rights, and has built a lyocell fiber production line with the largest single-line production capacity in China. The productQualityhas reached the industry standard for high-quality products, the solvent unit consumption and comprehensive energy consumption have reached the international advanced level, and has good environmental and socio-economic benefits.

General technical new materials focus on the Lyocell fiber industry. Since the establishment of the project in 1998, three phases of Lyocell production line projects totaling 90,000 tons/year have been built. Among them, the “Lyocell fiber production line construction project with an annual output of 60,000 tons” was approved by General Technology Group Company in December 2018. The project is constructed in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone of Xinxiang City, Henan Province, with a construction area of more than 100,000 square meters.

The project is implemented by General Technology Chinatex Green Fiber Organization. General Technology China Textile Science Research Institute Co., Ltd., General Technology Beijing Zhongli Machinery Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., General Technology Hebei Chinatex Engineering Design Co., Ltd., etc. participate in the construction of the project. . When the project was put into trial production on the production line on June 17, 2022, it achieved the best start-up record of producing high-quality products on the first day of start-up. At the end of July 2022, all three production lines of the Lyocell fiber project with an annual output of 60,000 tons were put into operation, and various consumptions were significantly lower than the design targets.
