Vice President of the Textile Chamber of Commerce Zhang Xinmin met with the First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association
On May 15, Vice President Zhang Xinmin of the Textile Chamber of Commerce met in Beijing with the visiting First Vice President of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association Mirmukhsin Sultanov and his delegation. The two sides exchanged the latest situation of bilateral textile and apparel trade, conducted in-depth discussions on promoting bilateral economic and trade exchanges, promoting exchanges and visits, trade investment, exhibition cooperation and other issues, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
Zhang Xinmin said that China and Ukraine have a long history of friendship and good political relations, and high-level exchanges of visits have laid a stable political foundation for bilateral economic and trade cooperation. The textile and apparel industries of the two countries are highly complementary and have broad prospects for cooperation. After the two parties signed the memorandum of cooperation, exchanges and docking have become closer. In the future, they should expand cooperation on this basis, strengthen information exchange, organize business visits, and jointly organize trainings, forums and other business promotion activities. Vice President Zhang also highlighted the international and domestic exhibitions hosted by our association, hoping to use the power of the Textile Chamber of Commerce to work with Uzbekistan to explore third-party markets and promote bilateral industrial cooperation and win-win development.
Sudanov expressed his willingness to deepen the docking and cooperation between the associations and industries of the two countries under the guidance of the memorandum of cooperation between the two parties. Uzbekistan intends to establish the Saidaya Industrial Zone mainly for Chinese-funded enterprises and provide necessary infrastructure and policy support for enterprises entering the park. It is proposed to hold training activities at the association and industry levels to exchange industry experience and strive to promote the improvement of Uzbek industry skills. Promote the diversified and international development of Uzbekistan’s industrial chain, absorb more foreign capital to promote the development of local industries, and strive to restore bilateral trade to pre-epidemic levels.
The two sides agreed to discuss continuing to jointly organize online or offline economic and trade promotion activities in the future to help Chinese companies understand Uzbekistan’s investment environment and policies, expand bilateral trade and production capacity cooperation; organize industry training based on Uzbekistan’s needs, and share the experience of Chinese companies in Uzbekistan Experience in e-commerce, marketing, intelligent manufacturing, etc. The Textile Chamber of Commerce is willing to actively establish further contact and cooperation with the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association to promote in-depth exchanges and docking of the textile and garment industries of both parties.
