Notice on holding the third “Huichuan Cup” Textile Intelligent Design Student Grand Prix

In order to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education, deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, focus on key core areas and future industrial development needs, and further cultivate and create a new force of innovation and creativity, after research and decision, it is planned to be held from May 2023 to 2023 The third “Huichuan Cup” Textile Intelligent Design Student Grand Prix will be held in October to better showcase the scientific research results of textile and clothing-related colleges and universities, provide new concepts and ideas for product development and process innovation, and enhance ChinaTextile Machinery product design and development level, and promote the implementation of new engineering projects. Notices related to the Grand Prix are as follows:
1. Organizational structure

2. Participation requirements
(1) Participants
Full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students from textile and clothing-related colleges and universities across the country can register to participate as individuals or as a team.
(2) Entries
Each participating school selects its projects on a merit-based basis, and each person or team is limited to 2 entries.
(3) Team formation requirements
The number of main members of a participating team for a project shall not exceed 8 and a team leader shall be selected. The participating team members shall have a reasonable division of labor, interdisciplinary disciplines, and a combination of advantages.
(4) Instructor
Participating individuals or teams need to identify a dedicated instructor. The instructor can be a school teacher or a corporate mentor. The total number of people cannot exceed 2. The number of participating teams guided by each instructor cannot exceed 2.
3. Competition content
(1) Scope of participating projects
Entries are encouraged to be original, reflect textile intelligent innovation and creativity, take product design and application as the main line, and focus on the automation design of textile equipment and auxiliary equipment, textile equipment design, and intelligent sensor development And production management systemintelligent design, etc., meet application needs and have potential market value.
(2) Competition Category
The competition is divided into undergraduate and postgraduate groups.
4. Schedule
(1) Registration
The deadline for registration is May 26, 2023.
(2) Preliminary round
Each participating team needs to submit a project application form (see Attachment 1), PPT presentation file or video and other compressed files to be sent to the organizing committee’s email address before June 30, 2023. (Note: The entry materials folder is named “Project Name-Institution Name-Project Leader-College Student Group/Graduate Student Group”)
The preliminaries will be reviewed by the competition organizing committee and a number of outstanding entries will be selected to enter the finals.
(3) Finals
The finals will be held in mid-October 2023. People from academia and business circles will be invited to form judges to review the works. Participating individuals or teams are encouraged to bring their works to the finals. Each entry will be presented in a 15-minute presentation and 5-minute expert questioning. Experts will score on the spot, determine the final ranking based on the results, and select awards for each level.
5. Participation Instructions
(1) The intellectual property rights and ownership of the winning works belong to the contestants and participating units, and the main sponsor has priority and paid use rights.
(2) All information (including personal information) filled in by the contestants must be true and valid. If found to be untrue, their qualifications will be disqualified.
(3) The organizer and organizer of the competition have the right to publicize and display all entries without paying any copyright fees.
(4) There are graded awards in the finals, including first prize, second prize and third prize.
There will be a ten-day period for questioning and complaining about the winning projects. If a complaint is received and after investigation, if it is confirmed that the project contains plagiarism, academic fraud, etc., the award for the project will be cancelled, and depending on the seriousness of the case, a notice of criticism will be given, and the participation in the next competition of the school where the project is located will be cancelled. Qualification and other penalties.
(5) This competition does not charge any fees from participating students and institutions. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the “Participation Registration Form” (see Attachment 2) and send this form to the organizing committee by email or fax before May 26, 2023 meeting.
