Xinjiang Railway: The first “Aksu-Changxing South” train to aid Xinjiang opens

Exit and head for Zhejiang Changxing South Railway Station. This is the first “Aksu-Changxing South” train to aid Xinjiang opened in Xinjiang, setting up a fast lane for “transporting Xinjiang products to the east”.
Since the beginning of this year, the Xinjiang railway department has taken the initiative to connect with upstream and downstream enterprises in the cotton industry chain, increased investment in transportation capacity, actively expanded cotton transportation channels out of Xinjiang, and promoted the stable and healthy development of Xinjiang’s cotton industry.
The Aksu region is one of the main cotton producing areas in the country. The Xinjiang Railway Department has visited more than 40 cotton yarn production and processing companies to accurately understand the production, supply and sales of cotton yarn. “We understand that textile consumption is gradually picking up this year, and orders from spinning mills are increasing.” said Zhai Pengyuan, a salesperson at the Kashgar Freight Center Marketing Department of China Railway Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd.
The Xinjiang Railway Department quickly assembled vehicles, strengthened mechanical operation capabilities, increased personnel investment, optimized transportation processes, and reasonably streamlined the time for cargo ticket acceptance, loading and unloading operations, alignment and transportation, etc. We provide key guarantees in terms of cargo area and cargo space to shorten transportation time and ensure that cotton yarn is delivered to customers in a timely manner.
“The Xinjiang-aid train transports the cotton yarn produced by the company to the Yangtze River Delta region, meeting our large-volume transportation needs.” Li Wanwen, deputy general manager of Aksu Xinzizhao Textile Co., Ltd., said that the operation of the Xinjiang-aid train has been shortened The transportation time alleviates the financial pressure and creates convenient conditions for enterprises to further expand their market share.
Since the beginning of this year, Xinjiang’s railway department has continued to optimize production organization, unblock cotton and cotton yarn transportation channels, and make every effort to ensure cotton transportation. So far, Xinjiang Railway has shipped 1.482 million tons of cotton and cotton spinning goods, a year-on-year increase of 81.4%.
