Shandong Sericulture Research Institute visited the Processing Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences
On March 23, Cheng Hongbing, Chairman of the Shandong Sericulture Research Institute and Secretary of the Party Committee, and other six people visited the Processing Institute of the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences for exchanges. Yao Wenshan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Processing Institute, Zou Yuxiao, Deputy Director, and scientific and technological backbones of relevant departments attended the discussion.
At the meeting, Cheng Hongbing gave a detailed introduction to the development of Shandong’s sericulture industry. He said that the processing center is at the forefront of the development of the diversified sericulture industry in the country and hopes to develop new sericulture varieties, diversified sericulture processing technology, marine food processing and other technologies. In terms of supporting industries, we will carry out all-round cooperation with processing institutes. Yao Wenshan introduced the basic situation of the processing institute’s team building, technological innovation and achievement transformation mechanism, and talent team building. Both parties stated that both provinces are facing opportunities for the transformation and upgrading development of the traditional sericulture industry. Next, they should further strengthen ties and give full play to their respective advantages in varieties, technology and industry, and promote the development of sericulture. In-depth cooperation in industrial technological innovation and supporting industrial development will jointly promote the highquality development of the diversified sericulture industry.
After the meeting, Cheng Hongbing and his party visited the scientific and technological achievements exhibition hall of the Processing Institute and the provincial agricultural product processing technology research and development pilot public service platform.
