Wang Baomin, deputy director of Dongguan Humen Clothing and Apparel Industry Management Committee, said that over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, Humen’s clothing and apparel industry has developed rapidly and gradually formed a large-scale industrial cluster font>, complete supporting industrial chain, mature and developed market system. In 2022, the total industrial output value of the town’s clothing and apparel industry will be approximately 42 billion yuan, and the annual market sales will be approximately 83 billion yuan, forming a complete industrial chain and a large-scale industrial cluster integrating R&D, design, production, sales, and service. “Humen clothing” has become an industry and city business card of Humen. In 2022, Humen Town achieved online sales of 57.38 billion yuan through third-party platforms, an increase of 3.2%. There are more than 10,000 enterprises and self-employed businesses engaged in e-commerce in the town, of which 90% are engaged in clothing and apparel. He hopes that this matchmaking meeting will further promote high-quality cooperation between Humen’s garment industry and overseas garment industry, so as to achieve shared opportunities, seek common development and win-win future.
