Kuandian County, Liaoning Province carries out technical training on tussah silkworm breeding to help people increase their income and become rich
On March 9, the Sericulture Research Institute of the Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, together with the Kuandian County Science and Technology Bureau and the County Agricultural and Rural Development Service Center, launched the “Public Welfare Assistance to Farmers and Village Farming – Tussah Silkworms” in Yangmuchuan Town Special training meeting for experts on stocking technology and pest control”.
During the training, experts on tussah pest control gave detailed explanations on the key periods of major pest control in spring and autumn, scientific control methods and scientific pesticide technology. At the same time, the tussah egg surface disinfection in spring, the small silkworm period Several aspects such as conservation breeding and labor-saving stocking technology during the large silkworm period were explained, which was warmly welcomed by the silkworm farmers on site. After the training, farmers continued to consult experts on tussah breeding techniques, and the exchange atmosphere was very active.
After the meeting, the expert group went to the Biangou Village project in Yangmuchuan Town to assist the poor households in Guangsheng’s home, studied and formulated the 2023 tussah breeding plan, supervised the preparations for the early stage of breeding, and helped solve some of the silkworm material needs and pest control chemicals, striving to help the production of tussah breeding reach a new level this year.
It is understood that there were 180 people participating in this meeting, and a total of 200 copies of learning materials, 400 copies of silkworm supplies and pest control chemicals for the oak garden were distributed. Through training, the technical level of silkworm farmers has been further improved, the high-quality development of the advantageous and characteristic tussah silkworm industry has been promoted, and the revitalization of Kuandian countryside has been facilitated.
