This report emphasizes that the focus of economic development should be on the real economy, further focusing on high-quality development ideas, and the basic foundation for high-quality development should be placed on the upgrading and development of the real economy.

As a major component of my country’s real economy and a representative of the world’s advanced manufacturing level, the textile industry resonates with the country’s prosperity and people’s happiness. It will develop in the trend of the times and move forward with the general trend of history. Under the guidance of current favorable policies, the industry must steadily improve its position in the global value chain, strengthen its industrial scale advantages and system advantages, establish an industrial image of “innovation-driven technology industry, responsibility-oriented green industry”, and build a “national economy” With the industrial positioning of “pillar industries for social development, advantageous industries for international cooperation and integrated development”, it has become a powerful promoter of sustainable development.

What development characteristics will the paper textile industry show in 2022? What work did the branch do and what results did it achieve?

Zhou Jun: There are some systemic difficulties and pain points in the current development of the paper-making textiles industry. Systemically speaking, the paper-making textiles industry serves a narrow range of users, and the products and processes in this field are subject to greater downstream restrictions. big. Judging from the importexport data, our ability to participate in internationalization has increased, and the competitiveness of domestic enterprises has continued to improve. However, in terms of bargaining power, there is still a clear gap. Papermaking mesh is an indispensable part of the entire papermaking process and has a very important impact on papermaking quality. Due to product form constraints, the scale of papermaking mesh enterprises is not large. The lack of innovation power in the front-end industrial chain has also restricted the innovation capabilities of the back-end. In the future, the Paper Textiles Branch will need to work together with enterprises to smoothen the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain supply chain and promote the coordinated development of the industry.

In order to implement the “dual carbon” strategy and adhere to the path of green, low-carbon and sustainable development, the country has put forward relevant requirements for green manufacturing and circular economy development in various industrial fields. Focusing on the paper industry, the pulp and paper industry is developing from a traditional industry to a technology-intensive and strategic emerging modern industry with significant technological innovation capabilities.

As the upstream of the papermaking industry, the papermaking textile industry should make full use of policy advantages, strengthen technological innovation and product development, promote the digital transformation and green production process of industry enterprises, actively expand new applications and new markets, and achieve green sustainability high-quality development.

In the specific work, the standardization work of the Paper Textiles Branch has been continuously strengthened. Through the multi-party organization and coordination of the Branch Secretariat, a number of industry standards revision projects have been completed. At the same time, the Secretariat also actively summarizes and analyzes the technological development, production and operation of my country’s papermaking blanket industry, and compiles the annual “my country’s Papermaking Equipment Industry Overview”.

Looking forward to 2023, what plans does the branch have?

Zhou Jun: At present, the development of the paper-making textile industry is still in an important period of strategic opportunities. It must adapt to changes, put innovation as the fundamental driving force at the core of the industry, and effectively implement the new vision, new pattern, and new mind. Promote high-quality development of the industry. Regarding future development, the branch has made relevant plans:

First, focus on high-quality development. Completely, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, and rely on technological innovation, management innovation, and innovation capacity building to proactively serve and integrate into the new development pattern. Return to the original intention, make good products, meet market demand, lead the market, accelerate the value re-creation of the papermaking and carpet industry, and cultivate high-quality development momentum.

Second, promote brand building. Strengthen the construction of international communication capabilities, comprehensively enhance international status, and form an international voice.

Third, rely on digitalization, automation, and intelligent transformation to achieve strong and complementary links. Focusing on the development trend of the papermaking industry and its supporting needs for papermaking blankets, we will implement the national “dual carbon” strategy, adhere to the path of green, low-carbon and sustainable development, rapidly promote the construction of digital factories by enterprises, and realize the intelligent upgrading of the papermaking industry. For green and low carbon, we should realize the green transformation of the product’s entire life cycle from the aspects of material design, production and processing, recycling, etc., implement green manufacturing projects, promote the supply of green products, and build a green manufacturing system.
