2023 China Industrial Textiles Industry Quality Enterprise Cultivation Seminar was held in Nantong

On the 16th, the 2023 China Industrial Textiles Industry Quality Enterprise Cultivation Seminar was held in Nantong. More than 150 enterprise representatives, including individual champions in the national textile industry manufacturing industry and “little giants” specializing in new technologies, as well as relevant experts and scholars, gathered in Haimen to discuss the path to high-end development of the textile industry.

At the seminar, industry experts such as Zhu Meifang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave keynote speeches focusing on fiber material innovation, the current status and planning of cultivating high-quality textile enterprises across the country. Everyone believes that industrial textile companies should focus on development goals such as technological innovation, digital empowerment, and green transformation to make up for their shortcomings, strengthen their weaknesses, and increase their advantages.

In 2022, Nantong’s textile industry will achieve a cumulative output value of 170.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%. The “high-end textile cluster” participated in the construction of our city has been identified as a national-level advanced manufacturing cluster.

On the same day, the Shanghai New Materials Association and the Nantong Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will deepen cooperation and exchanges and strengthen the collaborative innovation of the new materials industry chain between Shanghai and Tong. .
