The meeting also organized participants to go to the South Gate Silkworm Professional Cooperative of Xinpo Village, Dacai Township, Huanjiang County, where they observed on-site demonstrations such as the technology of crushing mulberry branches and returning them to the field, the operation of sericulture machines, and the intelligent management of water and fertilizer in mulberry gardens. Training was provided on key technologies such as the transformation of medium and low-yield mulberry orchards, efficient management and protection of mulberry orchards, high-standard mulberry orchard construction and mechanical farming. This on-site promotion meeting sounded the clarion call for spring plowing of sericulture production, driving all regions in the region to seize the farming season, based on the word “early”, promote mulberry garden renovation and field management and maintenance, and lay a solid foundation for increasing silkworm cocoon production and agricultural income throughout the year.
