In 2022, Hebei’s imports and exports to countries along the “Belt and Road” will increase by 21.9% year-on-year

Shijiazhuang Customs reported on the 7th that in 2022, Hebei will import and export to countries along the “One Belt and One Road” >196.83 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.9%. Among them, exports were 135 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.7%; imports were 61.83 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.1%.

In 2022, Hebei’s import and export to ASEAN was 76.67 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 32.2%, accounting for 39% of the total import and export value of countries along the “Belt and Road”, and ASEAN became the largest trading partner.

General trade accounts for nearly 90%, and private enterprises are growing steadily. General trade import and export amounted to 172.34 billion yuan, accounting for 87.6% of the total import and export value to countries along the “Belt and Road”. Bonded logistics import and export reached 14.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 94.7%. The import and export of processing trade was 7.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.4%. The import and export of private enterprises was 137.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22%, accounting for 69.8% of the total import and export value to countries along the “Belt and Road”.

Imports are mainly bulk commodities. Natural gas imports from countries along the “Belt and Road” were 20.78 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 55.7%. The import of agricultural products was 6.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.6%.

Major export commodities generally increased. Exports of mechanical and electrical products were 44.96 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%, of which automobile exports were 8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.5%. Steel exports amounted to 21.82 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%. Exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were 10.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%.
