On December 25, 2022, CIAA held an online 2022 antibacterial label product launch conference and released the 2022 antibacterial label product list to the public.
The antibacterial properties of the product are invisible and intangible. Therefore, the public is confused or even difficult to understand about what antibacterial products are, how to evaluate their performance, and how to use them under what circumstances. Based on this, CIAA has formulated technical standards for evaluating the hygienic safety performance and antibacterial performance of products, and developed an antibacterial mark based on this technical standard, using visible (patterns) to convey the invisible (quality) to convey the message to the public. Safe and effective antibacterial products are popularized in society to provide consumers with a cleaner, more hygienic and healthy living environment.
Antibacterial logo products represent China’s quality of antibacterial products and demonstrate China’s confidence in the antibacterial industry. According to CIAA Secretary-General Zhang Yingzeng, on the basis of paying attention to global regulations and standards, and based on a deep understanding of China’s national conditions, CIAA has formulated comprehensive and strict antibacterial labeling products, including enterprise qualification requirements, product technical requirements and functional labeling specifications. Therefore, once a product is approved to use the antibacterial mark, it means that the product has obtained a test report from a CIAA-accredited third-party antibacterial testing laboratory with CMA and CNAS qualifications, and its health, safety and antibacterial performance meet the stringent CIAA technical standards. , and the applicant has made a commitment to product quality.
