“Hunan Province Silkworm Breed Management Measures” legislative research team went to Yashilin Company for investigation
In order to implement the 2023 legislative plan of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government and ensure the official promulgation of the “Hunan Provincial Silkworm Breed Management Measures”, on February 27, the legislative research team went to Yashilin Company (Zhongcoon Xinke Biological Co., Ltd. ) research.
With the implementation of the “Yashilin Changsha (International) SericultureSilk Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Project”, Hunan Province’s cocoon production will reach 50% of the global cocoon raw material market in the future % or more, successfully creating a new 100 billion industrial chain with advantages and characteristics. The research team inspected the artificial feed sericulture factory at Yashilin Changsha (International) Sericulture and Silk Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, and intuitively felt the disruptive changes brought by artificial feed sericulture to traditional sericulture. At the symposium, the research team and Yashilin experts discussed whether the management of silkworm seeds for artificial feed sericulture needs to be included in the scope of legislation, the inspection and quarantine of self-bred silkworm seeds and purchased silkworm seeds, and discussed the “Hunan Provincial Silkworm Breed Management Measures (Draft)” listened to opinions and suggestions.
