XPCC Cotton and Linen Co., Ltd. was established in 1991. It is a large-scale national cotton operation and circulation enterprise integrating acquisition, processing, wholesale, warehousing, logistics, and industry management. This year, through visits to member companies and textile companies for research, Zhao Yinglong believes that the following three aspects need to be focused on: First, the key cotton textile companies in Xinjiang are concerned about cotton varieties. and index demand changes and problem feedback; second, the acquisition and processing management standards of processing enterprises are uneven; third, the XPCC cotton lacks a unified standard system and brand building.
Based on the policy implementation status and the problems faced at this stage, Zhao Yinglong made suggestions: Regional recommended varieties should be deeply integrated with the local textile and apparel industry chain; industrial support policies should be continued to be improved, and policies should be given to large-scale and reputable cotton-related enterprises , financial support; through the construction of XPCC cotton standards and brands, various units of fine cotton seeds, planting management, procurement and processing, cotton supply chain and textile enterprises can be effectively connected to realize the product price and brand value of XPCC high-quality cotton.
