Weifang City Supervisor: Randomly inspected 12 batches of bedding and 3 batches were found to be unqualified
On November 15, the website of the Weifang Market Supervision Bureau of Shandong Province reported the second batch of product quality supervision and spot checks. This time, towels, bedding, soft spring mattresses and other products were randomly inspected. Among them, 12 batches of bedding products produced and sold by 12 companies were randomly inspected. 9 batches were qualified and 3 batches were unqualified. Unqualified items: fiber content, color fastness to wet rubbing.
This spot check mainly focused on the product’s fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH value, fiber raw material requirements, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, color fastness to water, color fastness to acid perspiration, color fastness to alkali perspiration, 14 indicators including color fastness to dry rubbing, color fastness to wet rubbing, color fastness to saliva, burning properties, heavy metals, and phthalates were tested.
