In recent years, Shiquan Silkworm Breeding Farm has always adhered to the business philosophy of “Quality = Life” and focused on the research and development of silkworm seed production technology. It has carried out scientific research cooperation with colleges and universities such as Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University, Southwest University and Ankang College for many times, and has undertaken national More than 10 provincial and municipal scientific research projects have been carried out, and fruitful scientific research results have been achieved. Among them, the “five-level” technology for the prevention and control of microparticle diseases in the original silkworm area has been created for the prevention and control of microparticle diseases. It is 2-7 percentage points higher than the national standard. It has been ranked first among the inspected factories in the province after multiple random inspections by the Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture. “Tianhong brand” silkworm seeds are exported to major silkworm areas such as Zhejiang, Anhui, and Guangxi, and are well-known throughout the country.
In 2022, the Shiquan County Silkworm Breeding Farm bred a total of 75,000 high-quality and qualified silkworm seeds, with a passing rate of 99.8% for minor diseases, exceeding previous years and setting a record high, laying a solid foundation for the Shiquan County sericulture industry.
