The research team of the Provincial Sericulture Management Station went to Hengjiang Town to investigate the development of the sericulture industry

Recently, a team from the Sichuan Provincial Sericulture Management Station went to Hengjiang Town, Xuzhou District to investigate the development of the sericulture industry. Relevant personnel from Yibin Sericulture Station, Xuzhou District Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and Hengjiang Town accompanied the investigation.

At the Shichengshan Sericulture Industrial Park in Hengjiang Town, the research team carefully inspected the situation of silkworm leaf planting, listened to reports on the sericulture industry, and conducted on-site investigations on sericulture, silkworm cocoon acquisition, and sericulture industry.

The research team affirmed the sericulture industry in Hengjiang Town and required the sericulture modern agricultural park in Hengjiang Town to strengthen planning guidance, rational layout, and fully focus on improving quality and efficiency; strengthen industrial management, and fully carry out reasonable intercropping cultivation, promote new technologies according to local conditions; improve land utilization, promote the “high-quality, large-scale, environmental protection and efficient development of the sericulture industry chain, and effectively increase farmers’ income.
