Guangxi Mengshan: Party building leads the cocoon and silk industry to “gather silk into gold”

Since this year, Mengshan County has combined party building guidance with corporate strategic development, carried out the “Red Original Aspiration, Colorful Silk” activities, established the Mengshan County Cocoon and Silk Industry Comprehensive Party Committee and four township-level mulberry industry comprehensive party committees, forming “1+4” party building leads the development pattern of cocoon and silk industry.
At present, the county has facilitated the establishment of party organizations in five cocoon silk enterprises including Huahong, Zhongsicheng and Wufeng. Among the eight regulated silk enterprises in the county, 62.5% have established party organizations. By selecting party members with high political quality, strong professional ability, and familiarity with party affairs to serve as party building instructors and liaisons for the two new organizations, we provide “one-on-one” services to enterprises. 25 activities were carried out focusing on the production and operation of cocoon and silk enterprises and the needs of employees, and helped solve about 43 “difficulties” and “blocking points” in the production and operation of enterprises. Promote the working methods of party members of the two new organizations to unveil the list and take charge, establish a party member technical research team, and party members to lead the implementation of 34 key projects, promoting the output value of the silk industry in Mengshan County to increase by more than 10% year-on-year.
