The intelligent ecological dyeing and finishing R&D platform of Shaoxing Innovation Research Institute of Donghua University is officially launched

The intelligent ecological dyeing and finishing R&D platform of the public experimental platform of Shaoxing Innovation Research Institute of Donghua University has been officially launched recently. Its functions include research and development of new dyes, functional additives, optimization of printing and dyeing processes, and promotion of new digital printing and dyeing technologies.

It is reported that this platform is led by Dong Xia, deputy director of the National Dyeing and Finishing Engineering Center and associate professor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Donghua University. Dong Xia has presided over many scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and the Central University Fund, and participated in many vertical topics and corporate cooperation projects, and has profound attainments in this field.

Keqiao’s printing and dyeing industry, which accounts for one-third of the country’s total volume, has been accelerating industrial upgrading and integration in recent years, and many companies have increased investment in the introduction of advanced equipment. Although the hardware level has been greatly improved, software such as talent support and technical empowerment urgently needs to be improved simultaneously. The relevant person in charge of the intelligent ecological dyeing and finishing R&D platform said that the original intention of the platform was to accelerate technical cooperation with Donghua University, jointly create an intelligent ecological dyeing and finishing public experimental platform, and promote Keqiao printing and dyeing with high-tech servicesIndustrial ClustersImprove quality and efficiency and fill market gaps. Keqiao’s printing and dyeing industry lacks openness and transparency of textile product data information and rapid dyeing industrialization. The platform is officially launched and will form a “dyeing and finishing process database” to serve printing and dyeingintelligent manufacturing and solve the problem of Keqiao’s printing and dyeing industry. To bridge the pain points of lack of technical personnel and poor quality of production based on experience in the printing and dyeing industry, we have realized the digitalization and standardization of the printing and dyeing process, and improved the efficiency and quality of printing and dyeing.
