Announcement on Adjusting the Premiums and Discounts of Designated Cotton Delivery Warehouses in the Mainland

According to the “Notice on Further Improving Policies and Measures for the Cotton and Textile and Garment Industry in the Autonomous Region” (New Deal Banfa [2022] No. 61) and the “Notice on Adjusting the Premiums and Discounts of Designated Cotton Delivery Warehouses” (Notice [2016] No. 18), now Announcement of adjustments to the premium and discount standards for designated cotton delivery warehouses in the mainland, which will be implemented from October 18, 2022. The specific standards for premiums and discounts are as follows:

Note: “Freight subsidy” refers to the shipping subsidy standards for cotton out of Xinjiang issued and implemented by the General Office of the People’s Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. When the freight subsidy policy expires and before the new policy is announced, the freight subsidy standards for calculation of premiums and discounts will continue to apply according to the policy provisions of the previous period, unless otherwise announced by the exchange; after the new freight subsidy standards are announced, premiums and discounts will be calculated according to the new standards. Execution begins on the tenth trading day from the date of announcement (excluding this day). If that day is among the first to thirteenth trading days of the delivery month, the execution date will be postponed to the fourteenth trading day of the delivery month. .
